I think your 'CL' engraving/watermark was a really great pick, friend. When did you first employ it as your trademark?

I designed it specifically for the Through Mountains EP, citing a need for visual iconography that could easily identify my work that didn’t look too contemporary but could still appear simple and timeless. Thank you for the compliment! <3

Mvsic To Our Ears

Remember when the M in MTV stood for music? Yeah, neither do we. But that’s exactly what our favorite new website, mvsic.net is hoping to achieve. It’s a simple concept; a website that provides a constant stream of music videos. But these aren’t just your run of the mill dance hits featuring Pitbull; these are highly curated music videos that run the gamut from artsy, to trippy, to haunting, to beautiful, to everything in between. It’s the perfect solution when you need to throw something on the computer during parties, or just have it playing in the background while you pretend to do work.

The site was started in 2012 by Martin Rack and Dominic Frohlof with a simple proposition: resurrecting music videos. Needless to say, we’re hooked. The site is still in its infancy but we’re excited for these dudes and support what they’re doing. Keep it up fellas!

Music videos have, for a really long time, been my favorite genre of film. Will have to check it out!

Test footage.

First time in years that I’ve touched video at all, getting reacquainted with my tools and workflow. I’m using Magic Lantern firmware (to trick my Canon 500D to shoot 24P at 1080p) and Adobe Premiere. Track is “The Stars Drop Away” from the Kentucky Route Zero soundtrack by Ben Babbit.
