I finally understand that my pet-peeve about artists not drawing guitars entirely “correctly” is somewhat invalidated by just how foreign those shapes are from just about any angle other then sideways. It’s bloody tough! In a modern arrangement you generally have the drums (cylinders and cones) or keyboards (rectangles) and then you have the bloody guitars (organic shapes with a few straight bits.) It’s more prudent to just capture the idea and move on unless you’re doing work for a guitar-magazine or something. Same goes for most stringed instruments.
Except the harmonica. I think I can handle the harmonica.
Or maybe I should just be a better draftsman I don’t know.
