This is Gavin, The American Kestrel male I adopted from Erin Wonder’s research project!
MY RIDICULOUSLY HANDSOME BIRD SON was born May 6th this year, and his band number is 1783-54523.
He’s a chatty little man with a lot of big opinions!!! Obviously the sign of a genius. ~ v~

Here, Tumblr, a nice documentary about crows.
You’re welcome.
As y’may or may not know, I “adopted” an American Kestrel via this RocketHub campaign. So what that entails is I get to name “my” Kestrel, I’m gonna get pictures, video and specific stats on him, and his band number so I can check up on him in the future. This made me EXTREMELY excited because LOOK at these handsome babies:

So I’m sitting here screeching to myself because, holy crap, I’M A POPPA BOID (in the loosest sense of the made-up term) and AHHHHHHdjisadjsoiadiod Birds. <3
But see, I’m having one issue.
I don’t know what to name him.
I’m thinking Jeremy, in all seriousness.
I want pictures/videos/stats of m’baby bird. :3c <3
Oh gosh what to name it. /<:\ <3 I suppose it depends on wether it’s a male or a female but ahhhh gosh. 3<: <333
Matthias or Sasha I think. <333

Are these not the most adorable snugglebirds?
I refuse to accept this is an event that actually happened in our universe. Nothing would’ve survived; it would’ve been bedlam.
