Artist #9 of my top 10 local Twin Cities musicians to watch in 2012 is none other than my personal favorite Casey LaLonde. There’s something about the ambient sounds he creates that I love. Wholly.
Song of the day is, “Alone” and I highly recommend you watch for him in 2012, folks.
Oh yeah, and one more thing. He makes art, too. How can you not dig on that?

Cafe SouthSide, 34th and Chicago, Minneapolis by Powderhorn365
Today is the opening of a new cafe in Powderhorn neighborhood, now serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, along with baked goods. Breakfast and lunch selections will be added in the future. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 7 days a week. Photo left to right: Flo Razowsky, Anna Meyer, Roxanne Anderson, and Wilda Miller. Anna and Roxanne are the owners, and Flo and Wilda are employees. Flo was a weekly photographer in 2010 for Powderhorn365.
